The ix-chicago mailing list was setup to help coordinate and
disseminate communications regarding Chicago area Internet exchange
and Internet co-location facilities. This list is not specifically
endorsed nor associated with any particular Chicago area facility.
This list is both unofficial and facility neutral.

Appropriate topics for the ix-chicago list include:

o Technical queries and discussions about Chicago area facilities.

o Announcements of upcoming downtime, changes, moves or additions
involving Chicago area facilities or facility participants.

o Follow-up discussions regarding unforeseen problems and operations
with Chicago area facilities or facility participants.

General discussions about network operations are discouraged. The
use of this list for sales and marketing purposes is also heavily
frowned upon. This should be a relatively low volume list with short
lived discussion threads.

This list is open to anyone who wishes to participate. The list
archives will be publicly available to subscribers and non-subscribers
alike. By default, a subscriber list is not publicly available so
those who wish to monitor this list may do so with some privacy.
Questions or comments can be sent to myself or:
